Praise for Small Sport Utility Vehicles

Consumer Reports is a great source for unbiased information on new cars and car buying tips. One trend they’ve noticed is that car buyers crave smaller vehicles. Buying less is the biggest trend in buying SUVs in particular, and no longer are buyers considering seating capacity, towing capacity, or other aspects that they don’t really need.

Fuel economy has become a huge factor at one used Ford Los Angeles dealer, where many customers are interested in the latest Ford Escape Hybrid. In addition, to the hybrids, there are ample compact crossovers that offer immense value and fuel savings.

One vehicle that Consumer Reports strongly recommends is the Toyota RAV4. Toyota Parts Store adds that when equipped with the available V6 engine, the RAV4 can accelerate with ease while also delivering strong fuel economy. The Volkswagen Tiguan was made the cut. A relatively new entry into the compact crossover market, the VW Tiguan combines the handsome styling of the larger Touareg with sporty handling and performance that is more characteristic of the GTI.

Another Consumer Reports mention was the Honda CR-V. While not a new model, the CR-V is a continual favorite for its fuel economy, reliability, and outstanding fit and finish. Honda Salinas are continually impressed with the Honda’s improvements with each new update, and the lactated generation remains is simply the best so far. The Hyundai Santa Fe is also a popular model. The latest version is larger and more luxurious than its processor, helping to drive new Hyundai buyers to Jersey City Hyundai dealers. With Powerful engine choices and available third row seating, the Santa Fe should offer plenty of versatility for a diverse group of buyers.

Lastly, the Nissan Murano also gets a nod from Consumer Reports. The latest generation Murano could become pricey, but it does deliver a roomier interior, sporty handling, and brisk acceleration while still earning competitive mileage.
