Hyundai had long been known for low-quality economy cars. Not only did the automaker attempt to slowly changes negative perceptions of the brand through unbeatable warranties, but Hyundai also introduced the Genesis sedan, a surprisingly luxurious vehicle that seemed more like a Lexus than a Hyundai.
Now Hyundai is doing it again with the Equus. Aiming for the premium full-size segment, and vehicles such as the Lexus LS and Mercedes S-Class, Manassas Hyundai believes this vehicle will not only be a boon for the brand, but it will also help convert more luxury car buyers to the brand and encourage more cross-brand shopping.
For those that seen value over image, the 2011 Hyundai Equus may be the best choice.
